BBS stands for Beautiful Black Soldiers. We chose our name because it represents the struggle and who we are. It keeps us grounded so we will never forget our roots and where we came from.

It changes the music industry by allowing us to communicate and touch a larger group of people therefore broadening our audience. The internet is also known as the world wide web and to me that makes it self explanatory. The internet gives an artist or whomever options and information regarding thier craft. These things are a plus and a bonus for anyone musically, business wise and etc...

Yes definitely. We would like to sign a production deal versus signing as artists. Signing a deal with a major label would bring us more publicity and would allow us to broaden our fan base.

Baz started out rapping at the age of 15 in Rock City. His style matured throughout the years and he has blossomed into a complete and well rounded artist. In 1998 he started a music production team in which he could promote and showcase his personal composition better known as his book of life. This composition entailed a laid back style and delivery with a rebel appeal.

Baz has always been a geniune advocate for the under priveleged and the under dogs of our society. Being from humble but loving beginnings he has maintained respect, patience, and love for all human beings. Living by a strict code of honor the rules can be decoded through his body of work and continues to be updated as he grows as a human being.

His introduction to the rap game is a breath of fresh air which is much needed amidst this time of Hip Hop crisis.

He is first an foremost an artist, however he also creates beats, production, hooks, and is a ghostwriter to several indie Hip Hop, R&B Soul, and Rap artists. He maintains structure and street credibility.

While some have a complex style and delivery, Baz's style is to confront complex issues with the delivery known as lyrical coversation. When asked how to explain his style; Hip Hop Soul comes to mind, soulful but insightful, but always HIP HOP.

Musically we respect all artists, major or indie (etc). I listen to more underground music then I do billboard or mainstream radio rotated music.
