Well Myself (Too-Phat), Faron (Killa Link) and Darcy (30/30) have been together for the past 3 1/2 years doin songs,recording,making beats,performing live toogether. But now Darcy (30/30) is outta it..we did a last song with him called (Lets Get It)..But now me and faron(Killa Link) named our group HI-RISE..we self produce our own shit..we are lookin for the next step to take...theres not much wer can do livin in this small town...oh yeah and we all are white
Why this name?
it all started from my buddy darcy (30/30). everything to him in a 30...he grew up on 30th street his whole life...his b-day is on the 30th..his symbol is 30...and he wanted to have that ...Now we are known as HI-RISE..It was kinda weird how the name was founded..we wer both out in the middle of the lake and were jus lookin up at the sky and it just came to both of our heads at the same time and we both said HI-RISE....HI-RISE is just me and faron(Killa Link)
Do you play live?
yes we do play live but we are done doing it in this town because everyone has herd us..we love performing live...weve done clubs, bars, dances...u get this rush of energy and excitment that just makes the music industry soo much funner and better..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it lets people that are underground or that want to go mainstream get the sh*** herd...it shows the world that there is a lot more other rap artists then they think...and are even better then the top artists
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes..we are waitin for anyone thats in the game t notice us cuz all we are about is tru real sh*** with amazing skill..
Your influences?
My most musicical influence i know is quite frankly my father....hes taught me so much to know in the music business and what i do...he made me do and live my dream then just deam it..and my mother...itz been a heard road and although my mother isnt with us today she still remains in my heart and her soul wil live on forever
Favorite spot?
fav city...Vancouver...I grew up there...Fav spot aw well that has to be at the studio rippin it up

korg m5...cubase...and a whole lotta g to make that sh*** pop off
