Title of college paper from many years ago. Friend says -- "gee that would be a good band name."
Do you play live?
No, the band is just me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Dramatically. There is so much good music for free (legally) now. Makes it possible for interested people to share and discuss projects. Music costs literally nothing to make and distribute these days. I think it's great.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
And give myself over to the evil giant corporations? -- well, sure.
Your influences?
Stax Volt, old blues, Motown, early Who, Ry Cooder, Bach and Mahler.
Favorite spot?
My home town of Columbus, Ohio. Also Chicago, Las Vegas, and Memphis.
