Concerned Citzen is a project that I had in mind for quite sometime. The idea is to produce songs that view the world from a Catholic / Christian perspective without being explicitly Christian (at least most of the time). A lot of the songs that is uploaded are "works in progress." There's some serious stuff and some "tongue in cheek" stuff as well. I hope you enjoy them.
Why this name?
Augustine's idea of the City of God.
Do you play live?
Do you play live? Yes, it's much more interesting than playing dead. Where? I'm usually play where my instruments are. Do I like it? Yes.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe.
Band History:
I used to play in a Detroit rock band in my youth. I was the song writer / keyboardist that didn't date much. After the band days, I became a professional Catholic apologist and I still am. After years of trying to clear up misunderstandings with logic, Scripture et al., I felt like I have more to give. I was generally unhappy with the state of a lot of Christian/Catholic music and I thought it would be fun to start a music project that could push the envelope a bit. I distributed some mp3's to friends and the first word on their replies was "wow." So, I decided to give my music a little wider distribution.
Your influences?
