So its Freshman year of highschool, looking to actually do something worth while there I decide to make a band. After looking around I immediatly found Joe Varrera for drums. Well now we needed a guitarist and we found him in Nick Claffey and we started Rough Draft. We played well together did a few covers and some of our own. But it didnt last the band dismembered after about four months. That summer Matt Ansini asked me to fill in for his bassist in the band The Loser Kids i said sure. When that fell through Matt needed a band to play at a block party. We called upon Joe. After throwing together three or four song we played a sloppy show under the name Damn Noisy Kids. The only fans were drunken old people. The other people there just threw stuff at us. After that we decided to become an official band entering our Sophmore years. We got together in my gradge and Matt's basement and became New Revolution. After five months of practice we played a holloween show. The only people there were family. We continued on like that for another month then we enlisted Mike Maher for a second guitarist. After that we decided to write new songs and renamed the band Back For Seconds. After a few weeks Mike and BFS parted ways (we still stay close). But we were still determined to do well. shortly I wrote five songs rapid fire, we were in buisness. With the hard we started to loosen up and since have had many crazy shunanigans. Most recently we have written four more song, are recording, and are preparing for two shows this may. That would more than likely be it sorry we're boring. Dissent is Patriotic,

We listen to alot of punk rock bands like NoFX, Antiflag, and MXPX . But we also listen to alot of Less Than Jake ,and Five Iron Frenzy. We particularly try not to sound like any of our fave bands, just to be original.

well it depends really, but we like beach cities like South Carolina, and California
