I didn't choose the name. It chose me. My last name is Axel. I told my Grandfather I would make his name famous one day. Also, Cleveland Paige, a relativeof mine, told me that the Ax is the blade, and the EL stands for the GOD. I liked it.

I have played live as a soloist and as a member of a group. The group thing is easier onstage. The solo act is easier in the studio.

Some jealous rappers turned off the sound at our first show.

The internet makes the world, as small as it is, ten times smaller. Which is good cause the big dogs not in my physical proximity might as well live with me now.

I am open to anything. I am a hard worker, but I can't work with overbearing people. Money is good, but if you don't like your environment, money is a trap.

My history is brief. I was part of a group called "Blunthouse" for about two years. The group; which consisted of myself, my brother, and cousin disintegrated due to no food on the table, and unpaid water, and electric bills. After the split I had to find myself and rethink the plan. From that came Ax-EL, and I'm bound to hit your area.

My influences are Run-DMC, Treach, Daddy Kane, LL Cool J, and the Greatest Emcee of all time Kool G. Rap.
