i Chose Tj Chipp from the initialls from the 2 first letters from my first and middle name. I got chipp form that everyone likes chips so i hope to be much loved but not too mainstream, and i added the extra P to add more of a hip hop flavour.

A Hell of a-lot caz wit out it i couldn't make my own cd's and recrd and then we couldn't recognize alot of MC's wit talent. The Internet is like a saviour to hip hop. and gives you a chance to rap wit other people you dont know.

i've been rappin for about 2 years now and been recorden for about 11 months. i started off keystlyin at the ride inc website. they got me started. then i moved onto westcoast which i luv. i made a mixtape first which wa a failure lol and i started a record label called Hip2Hop which failed aswell it all fell apart when krazy-j left. and after that i started talkin to akwan and he gave me some good advice and bout 5 months afta that he started a record label called intricate and i got signed to that for like 1 week but then he dropped me caz he got mad at me for not belieevn he made dis beat. and afta that chynese outlaw left the label aswell and we started our label wit def wish called ''smooth revolution ent.''and then after about 4 months this closed down and never finished the mixtape, and now i've been rollin solo and bout to drop my first mixtape which is a compilation called Tj Chipp presents... ''Tj & Co. Vol. 1'' and features such artists as: spice 1, savage life & Shame, Extra Large, Flexxarally, Rodzilla & Arsen and many more should be out by next week!

Most definately alot of the westcoast scene. Mostly Warren G and dj quik they they are a big influence to me. Also Two Up an aus rap group. and Innasense i am influenced by him. and also: jack johnson, soopafly, hi-c, foesum and battlecat.
then i have my jazzy eastcoast influences which are: pete rock, a tribe called quest, mos def, talib kweli, hi-tek, AZ, Nas, The Roots, CL Smooth, Van Hunt, E. Badu, Common
