Ragna was originally created by Charles, Tom, and Ames and later found Max, from the Academy. We were short a bass player for a gig and we had an awesome new addition named Jason. Ames was skipping out on practices and gigs so....Jason came in! We just kicked ass at Glen Stock and we also played a great show at Benet. On the Fourth of July we played at the Renards and Max's house. Thomas moved to Texas(tear) but we just found a new drummer who goes by the name of joe Soderberg.Then our most recent addtion to the band is steve he was needed because we only had one guitar player and he is a really cool dude to chill with even know he gets weird sometimes.Our inflences are the Goo Goo Dolls, Foo Fighters, Hot Hot Heat, Alkaline Trio, Coldplay , The Get Up Kids, and Nirvana,Jellyfish,Saosin

Band History:
The band Ragna was formed in the fall of 2003, with members Charles Post, Thomas Sieth, and Ames Dignan. Our first actual show that we performed was at Hadley Junior High in Glen Ellyn IL. We then played around for a while and wrote some more songs and had alot of band practices and a couple of minor shows here and there. Then in the summer of 2004 we met Max Maude who was a friend Charles before the band started and we decided that we use him for keyboards, Back up guitar and vocals.Recently Ragna has played at Glenbard West's annual Glenstock concert and was a huge turning point for the band. Ragna is also going to release their first album called '' Ragna" which will be available summer of "06. We are currently touring around with other local bands and hope to get some bigger concerts...
