Coming from Rio Grande Valley(956) South TX, I mix all kinds of music...but slowed and chopped (despacio y mochado) hiphop/rap music is my fav...I've been mixin for about 3yrs and still learning...My style is clean cuz its not scratched. I havent learned enough to scratch on a mixtape yet but its something i'll learn soon, none the less, i have my mixing and chopping on lock. My partner DJ Polo is a future producer, expect to hear more about this DJ POLO, reppin da "9five6"... Polo and I have joined together and formed "Border Fresh Productions"
Why this name?
DJ Nito, i got it from my name Juan or JuaNito, nothin to it... Border Fresh because were fresh and were rite on the border "Hidalgo,TX/Tamaulipas, MEX"
Do you play live?
I play live in my smoke room at home.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a big boost for independent artists. forget about window of opportunity, were talkin doors "like in the matrix" of opportunity.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If its a good deal...why not?... i sure wouldnt mind some cash in ma pockets rite about now.
