Jonathan Ford is a Minneapolis-based sound designer and composer available for commissioned composition to be used in performance art, video games, multimedia presentations, etc. While speciallizing in abstract electonic compositions and ambient soundscapes, Jonathan's diverse talents allows for a wide variety of musical possibilities.

Jonathan performs solo electronic compositions as Dissociate, plays guitar in and produces for Stellar Vector, and produces remixes with In.Flect.

Jonathan began his career as a sound designer in 1998 while still a student at the University of Minnesota with the production "Inoperative Words," a surreal and introspective play by fellow student Molly Balcom. He has since produced and composed for numerous performance art pieces, multimedia displays, and promotional videos, including a live performance at an International Theatre Congress in Amsterdam in 2002. As part of the Praxis Group, Jonathan participated in the creation of an 8 hour performance of Heiner Mueller's "die hamletmaschine."
