play lo-fi play hi-fi  Bling of the Bumblebee
I don't take my music very seriously because I'm not that good yet, by my standards. I figure in time I could be, but I'm just starting out in the whole scene. Right now I'm 16 years old, started playing instruments about a year ago and making music pretty much around now.
Why this name?
I originally chose "Arch" because that's a nickname people have given me based on the very first internet name I used (Arch0wl, which was like NightOwl because I stayed up all night a lot). "Archie" was another one, and I think that that's a lot more specific because "Arch" is in like 50 million different words. So I figured if I did "Arch-E" I wouldn't be a duplicate of anyone.
Do you play live?
Well considering I make electronic music and I'm not rich so I can't afford synthesizers and all that, no.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great. It gives artists the chance to spread their sound and for other people to hear it across the world. It gives so many people the chance to start out as a musician and gain reputation. Artists like "mc chris" wouldn't be as known as they are if it weren't for the internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but I would feel over appreciated because I don't think I'm near good enough, haha.
Your influences?
BT is probably the biggest influence on me of any musician, he's extremely talented with so many types of music.
Favorite spot?
I'm currently in San Antonio Texas, but Seattle (Washington) is probably the most fun place I've been to. I want to move there some day.
Equipment used:
My computer? Fruity Loops? I have a MIDI keyboard that I use for practicing piano but I don't use it for making music because it's easier to sequence with FL.
