Earl Flemm and the Fullerbrushmen.
The Fullerbrushmen were the darlings of the music industry in Japan in the late 70's and 80's. We had America in our sites when our frontman Earl suffered a nervous breakdown and spent the last 10 years in a sanitarium in virtual obscurity and loneliness.

Why this name?
Earl Flemm is Earls given name. Before the Fullerbrushmen was launched Earl sold his songs door to door. It was a painfull experience, standing in the living rooms of potential buyers performing his songs as best he could, hoping for a sale. More times then not being physically removed from the premises. Another rejection meant another day not eating. Not unlike the great Fullerbrush salesmen of days gone by.Hence the band name.
Do you play live?
We did play live. Across the United States, South America, Europe and Japan (where we were extremely popular back in the eighties and peaked in the early 90's.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Made it a lot easier for individuals to get free music
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes with the right deal and total creative management over the music.
