American Acoustic Rock Meets Progressive Indie Britpop. The Veins are Alex Palmer, Cochise Derrick and Aarnon Naour, formed in 2000, they have become a prominent and very popular band on the North London circuit, playing venues such as The Hope And Anchor - Islington, The Spot - Covent Garden, and headlining the East Barnet Festival. Their music is highly original, but equally marketable, deriving from influences such as The Rolling Stones and Beatles up to The Goo Goo Dolls and John Mayer.
We have played live all over London, but we are taking time out at the moment to concentrate on recording and getting a deal. One highlight was when Alex, the singer had drunk half a bottle of aftershock and started hallucinating. None of us remembered playing, but apparently it was a great gig.
The Stones, The Goo Goo Dolls, John Mayer, Coldplay, Keane, Oasis
We have used Sonar as our little studio.
