This is the world’s finest literary moment.
SEBOS has been interviewed by the good folks at Space Junkies
Magazine. If you’ve ever wondered what makes the mind of SEBOS
work, then this is your chance. Better hurry, because soon
SEBOS will be much too scared of the media and the paparazzi
to give interviews. Enjoy!

---< 3 You Should Listen to These Tunes >----------------------
Here’s five artists that keep ending up in the SEBOS 8-Track.
You should listen to ‘em too!
1. Madonna: Confessions On a Dance Floor
When I was in high school, my friends said my musical tastes
could be summed up by the three “M’s”... Megadeth, Mozart and
Madonna. Well, Megadeth hasn’t made a decent album since
“Countdown to Extinction” and Mozart has been dead for quite a
while. That leaves Madonna. We know you don’t want to like
this album, but you will.
2. The Morning After Girls: Prelude: EPs 1 & 2
This is some good, rocking music here. Don’t know much about
them, but I do know they put down some really good tunes.
3. The Ocean: Here Where Nothing Grows
For those of you who dig Earth, Sunn O))) and heavy drone in
general, The Ocean are for you. Three songs that clock in at
1 hour and 24 minutes. You get the idea. Take the lethargy-
inducing drug of you choice and get comfortable...
4. Mississippi John Hurt: Today!
Kneel and worship... it just doesn’t get any better than this.
The first album he released after being “rediscovered” in the
60’s. The guy was a genius and his playing proves it.

There's a smell on the air in rural Spring Hill and it ain't pretty. Take a big whiff of a SEBOS CD and see if the odorous particles have stuck. That's cow manure, man. Lots of cow manure.
This is the breeding ground for SEBOS - a sweaty, smelly, mosquito infested world.
You see, SEBOS is the brainchild of one man, David J. Patterson. He writes, plays, records, produces, masters and "births" SEBOS from his own Beaumont Studios. The result is an unusual blend of heavy rock, blues and country, all filtered through shaky guitars, keyboards and a drum machine.
In the past, David worked in a group setting as vocalist in Tampa Bay area bands including Lead, Angel Spitt and Pale Rider, but he just couldn't get along with others. Now on his own with SEBOS, David has the perfect vehicle for projecting his musical vision to the world.
SEBOS cites The Beatles, Sonic Youth, Kyuss, Melvins, High on Fire, Prince and Tom Waits among his favorite artists, but it may take a few listens to hear their influence.
The music SEBOS most enjoys tends to be a little different. Not overly experimental to attract only fringe elements, but different enough to be surprising. That's what SEBOS hopes to create with his music.

Why this name?
SEBOS is the last name of a drunken old sorcerer that lived a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
Do you play live?
No. But David did love playing live when he was in a band and hopes to do it again eventually with SEBOS.
Special moment: David's very first gig ever with a band called Lead. It was at a record store. The display counter was knocked over and people were actually going through the roof. Balls out.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. SEBOS would prefer a nice home on an indie label. IPECAC I AM HERE FOR YOU!
Band History:
SEBOS bloomed from the mind of one David J. Patterson. Born December 22, 1972, David is a Capricorn, which means absolutely nothing.
After growing up, getting acne and doing all the reckless things that teenagers do, David earned a degree in journalism from the University of South Florida. He graduated and promptly shunned his chosen profession for its sh*** hours, low pay and scummy practices.
Instead David entered into marketing figuring that if you’re going to engage in puffery, you might as well do it in a field where you don’t have to deny it. Degree in hand, David got married, entered the workforce and became a 9 to 5 slave laborer in a fluorescent mine.
But it’s what was going on behind the scenes that mattered. From the age of two, David fell in love with music. There’s a famous picture of him in diapers and sunglasses dancing to an Elton John track. Don’t let that get out.
Sometime during his college years, David joined the Tampa, Florida-based heavy rock band Lead, which morphed into Angel Spitt. They gigged around the area and played shows with bands like No Use For a Name and Into Another before disbanding.
David then became the front man for a stoner rock outfit called Pale Rider. The music was slower and heavier and he exercised his tortured demon voice quite often. The vocals fit in perfectly when they opened for Eyehategod in Tampa.
David eventually bowed out of Pale Rider and became a solo act under the moniker SEBOS. David still wanted to play and sing heavy music, but he wanted to add a touch of psychedelica, blues, country and weirdness. And the tortured demon would only come out for special occasions.
SEBOS holed up in my Beaumont Studios in Spring Hill, FL and recorded the “Down Home & Way Out" EP to pass around to friends. They seemed to like it a bit.
Thus encouraged, SEBOS went back to work and finished his full-length “Token Vessel” LP. This well-received disc was chock full of heavy riffs and sonic detours.
Next up SEBOS released “The Sage” EP. This time, SEBOS delved even more into the slow and sludgy side of things. But, just to keep it interesting, there’s the drunken piano ditty at the end, and a cover of a Tori Amos song.
Now, SEBOS is back in Beaumont Studios working on his next full length...
