How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3's make it much easier to get exposed to the industry. Its the cheaper equivalent to a demo tape if you advertise right. And in places that wouldnt play you on the radio, or in different countries, just a click of button and they can have your music. I wouldnt recommend it for profitable purposes, but definetly for exposure.
