Hey, I'm Hayley Jane, Power Pop Rainbow Princess extraordinaire. I'm a cast member of the PA Renaissance Faire, and I've played live....twice. I'm quite random and I love glitter and sparkly objects. Long live sparkly things. I also like pretty underwear, and girls. And girls in pretty underwear.
Why this name?
Well, my real name is rather extensive, and my one fried just added "Jane" randomly on the end of my name one day, so then I became Hayley Jane forevermore.
Do you play live?
I've played live twice, as I said before. My favorite moment was when I got an encore at my school's "coffeehouse" open mic thing. It was the best feeling ever.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it really boosts it, and I think mp3 dowloading is perfectly AWESOME. I mean, just getting the music out there for people to here is so much easier now.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, I don't think so. I really want to be with Traitor Records, Emilie Autumn's record company, but I doubt it will ever happen.
Band History:
I don't really have a history. I've been writing songs for...agh, 4 years, and I've been playing guitar for...3 years. Then I jsut got my sh*** together and made a CD. Quite happy.
Your influences?
Josie and the Pussycats (frm the movie), Switchblade Kittens, Courtney Love, Lustra, Borling for Soup, Blink 182
Favorite spot?
Newark, DE
Equipment used:
My sweet awesome Schecter Dioman Series Flame guitar, and a Crate Amp.
Anything else...?

Don't be afraid to be yourself. People really try to conform everywhere, whether it's to the popular notion of "preppy", or to whatever. Don't follow goth to follow goth. Don't follow punk to follow punk. Do whatever you want, be whatever you want. Be a real non-conformist. It's okay to shop at Hot Topic if you like the stuff that's in Hot Topic. It's oaky to shop at Abercrombie if you like the stuff that's in Abercrombie. Don't conform. Conformity makes us all the same shade of gray.
