The band is called MESKEN.
We have very different musical and cultural backgrounds, and have a unique sound that's very melodic to the ear but hard and heavy at the same time.

Why this name?
It comes from the Ottoman days, it means HOME
Do you play live?
Not recently we havent, but this summer we will be so be sure to check out the dates.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet can bring you up but at the same time drop you like a rock, so it really depends on alot of things, some hate it but some love it what can you do.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ofcourse I would, I want to share my music with the world not just me and 10 other people.
Band History:
We have been together for 3 years now, currently went through some transitions and still going through it, but we will be back going strong once again in a month's time like end of April.
Your influences?
Alot of musical influences, anywhere from Metallica, Godsmack, Linkin Park, Rush, Ozzy, Uriah Heep, The Tea Party. Also alot of foreign music.
Favorite spot?
Downtown T.O. doesant matter where but anywhere in the heart of Toronto.
