Gate City Squad formed about three years ago after talks of creating a group. Right from the start these four young and talented artists came together and clicked immediately (ages ranging from 16-18). Their outgoing and positive attitudes make it easy to communicate and work with each other. Song after song, the group is constantly coming up with new material to out due and perform the previous song. Their endless creativity and willingness to succeed is what keeps this group together...

Why this name?
Nickname of our city is the "Gate City", so we decided to incorporate that into our name.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows underground and unsigned artists to share their music and voice with the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We would do whatever is in our best interest and if that is signing with a Major Label, than yes.
