Jeremiah are a three piece rock band currently based in Dundee, Scotland.

They are:

Oz - Guitar & Vox
Chaz - Bass
Steve - Drums & Vox
Why this name?
A friend of the original members went through a copy of NME looking for inspiring words and phrases. When Chaz and Oz looked through the list the one that stuck out was "An Earful of Jeremiah". This, they thought, was a good name for an album, and so the name Jeremiah was born, and the first demo tape was duly named "An Earful Of..."
Do you play live?
Recently started gigging again after a five year hiatus.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has completely revolutionised it. And if the record companies do not learn to accept and use this new technology to its advantage then the future of the music industry will be very bleak indeed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the price was right!
Band History:
Jeremiah started as a two-piece in late 1998. At the outset, Jeremiah were two guys, eighteen strings, one voice and no messing but, having played a few gigs they took on a second vocalist who gave the music an extra dimension. As such, Jeremiah Mark II pulled off another few gigs up to the close of 1999, before taking a bit of a break at the turn of the millennium to focus on the new direction. A drum machine and bass came along, giving rise to the first rhythm section within the band.

Things then became somewhat sporadic for a while, finally stalling completely until Summer 2004. Then Jeremiah Mark III was born. Something of a phoenix from the ashes, with a fourth member stepping in to fulfil drumming duties. As a four piece the band was back underway again, and rehearsals became regular until a difficult decision had to be made and, in February 2005, Jeremiah Mark IV was reborn as a power trio all looking to the future....
Your influences?
Jeremiah are heavily influenced by rock music of all kinds. Their music varies from mellow twelve string driven sounds to fuzzed-up punk.
