The Band originally called themselves Oestrogen, named as such because the 3 original members were female. The IX was added as a title for the Website, but the name stuck and the band became
Oestrogenix.

Gives people better access to the world of music. Long as Artists get paid for their work its cool, its a hard world, we all got to make a living however free we wish to be. But happy to share what we create for free, its just nice that people want to listen and have access.

Three of us were good friends before we formed Oestrogenix, just decided as we all had musical skills (Though some of us were rusty) it would be nice if we could pool them together and see what would happen. From there Oestrogenix has grown into what it is today.
