A Hearfelt Sorrow is a high energy band with mean chugs and pulsing double bass. We love to play live shows. Though sometimes we have more fun partying and playin' at band practice.
Why this name?
We are hardcore kids, but our music has a lot of emotion and our lyrics actually have meanings
Do you play live?
We love to play live, it's just hard to find shows. We are from Madison/Chardon/Thompson, Ohio. MOST of us love to just play music, and the others are a little less motivated. Our last show was alright, but it the cool part was when Joe and Mikey G pulled off guitar throws at the exact sme time.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Of course, you can access music so much easier. You get to hear bands that you'd probably never hear.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yeah, that's one of the biggest reasons you play music, a lot of fans, and big money.
Band History:
We were once Dead In A Daydream, but Joe (Guitar) and Shawn Bass (bass) left so there wasn't much left. Then we found another Joe for guitar and became A Heartfelt Sorrow. After that, we added Josh to the bass. Now we are trying to find a new sound and we may be losing a band member, so stay tuned for more details.
Your influences?
Some of our influences are Atreyu, Killswitch Engage and Converge.
Favorite spot?
The Hambden F****n Grange
Equipment used:
We have a Randall 60-watt stack and a 60-watt Guitar research half stack with an Ibanez and a Carlo Robelli guitars. I'm not sure about the rest.
