What happens when you piss off a talented, young, pop-ska band? When the temperature starts to rise, the bubbles start to boil; the music gets faster, louder and less escapable. With duelling vocals and resounding beats, the only thing hotter than the sound is the all-female horn section, that may just cook you breakfast the next morning!
Hop on the last train to lonelyville to find the most sincere lyrics and catchy melodies driven by one of the bands frontmen, Anthony Carone. Using every available source of pent-up teen angst, Anthony delivers the raw emotion of heartbreaking and love making with a scream most ‘street performers’ usually charge double for. On the lighter side, opposing frontman Justin Zoltek provides the hilarious, party-style anthems helping to make teen angst fun, while making fun of teen angst. The contrast is great. From their ridiculously funny on-stage humour, to their well placed ‘jabs’ at ex-girlfriends and critics, it’s no wonder they’re achieving the success they’ve come to find. Jeremy Kleynhans and Thomas Dallan help complete the beast, providing the pounding backbone which make the good vibrations even better.
One of their most renowned pop hits climbed it’s way to the ..1 spot on soundclick.com in March of 2005, proving that 'Peanut Buddha' may really be a healthy meat substitute.
With the support of their listener’s, the KNOCKOUTS have developed a reputation as a hit-and-run act. They make the hits and run with them, followed closely by their ever-growing fan base. Every show is an obvious testament to their amazing skill, and the anticipation of their upcoming album is a prime example of their assured longevity and success. So what do you get when you piss off a pop-ska band? You get a sound fatter then both frontmen combined - you get the KNOCKOUTS.

Why this name?
Because my momma said knock you out!
Do you play live?
We have been playing live since Feb. 25/05
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet changes the music industry by making it easier for bands to share their music. Though some people use the internet for stealing music, most use it for exploring and finding new things, and hopefully The Knockouts are one of those new things.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Do you mean make albums in professional studios? And travelling the world playing our music? And acting like a kid for the rest of my life? And getting paid for all of this?....
....yeah, we're up for that!
