Why this name?
Well, it's my name.
Do you play live?
Yes. Although I'm retired from the road and full time gigging, I still do a solo act on weekends to stay sharp (and to help pay the mortgage.)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes the playing field much more even and allows great artists to be heard. There are far too many talented artists out there who, up til now, deserved to be heard and haven't been able to.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not at this point in my life. I've been close a few times over the years, but as I've gotten older, the thought of going back out on the road for 8 bucks a week (chuckle) isn't all that appealing to me. Plus, the music business itself has to get back to making good music and putting less stock in "image".
Your influences?
The Beatles, Todd Rundgren, Alan Parsons, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Elvis Costello, am I dating myself here?
Favorite spot?
Toronto, L.A., and a few secret trout streams in PA and Colorado.
Anything else...?
