BR has been making beats for a while and when he moved to MD in the beginning of 8th grade he told SBell he wanted to start a group up with him. At first it was a joke so they called the band the Jewish American Pimpsters aka the JAPSTERS. But when they finished their cd, people liked it and really thought they were good so they started seriously pursuing it.
