Mama 'Taint Long 'Fore Day
Hi folks, just some "Blues You Can Use" here, nothing at all professional or polished,just old SlimChance beating out a few tunes for you.
Why this name?
Because I like it, and it sort of says it the way it is.
Do you play live?
Yes, occasionally, some of my tunes here will be from live performances, such as they are....and yes, I like to share my music, and yes,there have been many special moments.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Drastically, and probably in a good way, since it gets at least some music out there without corporate greed involved.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hardly likely to happen, and I doubt if I'd consider it anyway, although a small independent label could be interesting.
Your influences?
Pre Second World War blues by the early masters, like Charley Patton, Willie Brown, Son House,Blind Willie McTell,and oh so many more.
Favorite spot?
Wherever I hang my hat, as long as I have a guitar with me.
