Why this name?
i didnt choose marathon runner, marathon runner chose to choose something else and then i saw it and decided to choose it, so i guess in a roundabout way i did choose it...touche me.
Do you play live?
there was this one time when i was recording a song, and then i decided it sucked so i stopped recording it. no i dont play live, the world isnt ready for this sh*** yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it makes it sweet, cause then i can come on websites like this one and listen to horrendously bad mexican death metal and wonder if the people that wrote it actually think it's good. and it makes me confident.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
i would have to pick the label, but under the right circumstances (aka one million dollars) i think i could bring myself around to it.
Band History:
marathon runner was born out the mind of a motherf***ing genius. from there, it worked it's magical fingers into shape and played the greatest accoustic rock ever created by human beings. it studied with john tesh, became a master, and then, died in a car crash in 1953.
Your influences?
it's a mixture of a few things. unadulterated originality, and mind bending genius. marathon runner, is a fan of no man.

the grave site of prefontaine, rip motherf***er.
