Houston Spitler and Billy Trompeter were both born in a small village in
Oklahoma, named Broken Arrow. Raised by wolves, Houston began teaching
himself to play guitar at the age of 4. Billy's musical background, on the
other hand, was learned through the speakers of a sub-terranian Alien
fortress built below Broken Arrow's esteemed "County Line Quick Stop".
After escaping as a teen, Billy met up with Houston and they formed an
alliance to battle evil with music as the lethal weapon against their foes.
Relocating to Norman in 1994, the band sludged through hard times and almost
break-up in the " Meditteranian Blunder" incident. Billy traveled the
states, looking for meaning in music and life. Houston, meanwhile, honed
his skills in the arts of war and military tactic, all the while awaiting
his destiny with Billy. After 18 years, Billy returned refreshed and
optimistic about taming the Human thwart and the band re-united, waiting for
their trans-universal family to return.
The following music is the first glimpse into their new neo-human existance
and efforts.........

Why this name?
The name Buttarific chose us.
Your influences?
We listen to and enjoy almost all music except for country. Old country is nice, but living in oklahoma, we get our share of bad modern country. In our music you might hear influence of Alice in Chains(vocally), Smashing Pumpkins, Interpol, Grandaddy, Elf Power, and Built to Spill
Favorite spot?
The clutches of a good tune
Equipment used:
We use crappy equipment in my living room.
It's a wonder we get anything recorded at all.
