NEWS   All of us involved in the production of ReKlein want to thank all of our fans for their dedication to our little side project. Other musical and life commitments have made it very difficult for us to continue working together as a team. With the release of "Come On" we will begin an extended hiatus from ReKlein to dedicate ourselves to other projects. Thanks for listening and supporting us over the years and please feel free to send an email anytime, we'll keep the link active.

ReKlein explores new directions in Electronic music combining elements of IDM, Intelligent Techno, House, Ambient and Hip Hop with classic progressive rock of a bygone era. It is the brainchild of a small group of electronic musicians with roots in the music of the 60's and 70's and 21st century vision. By bringing some of the structural, melodic and harmonic components of the past to the loop based electronic forms of today, the band hopes to break new ground and help bring electronic music to the next level. Thanks for listening, please send us an email and let us know what you think of our music.
Do you play live?
We do not perform live but occasionally see some turntable time from DJ's around the globe.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The latest trends in internet music distribution open endless possibilities for listeners that would never exist under any other circumstances.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Our goals are to continue to write, record and publish. If a major label fits into those goals then anything is possible.
Band History:
We started out as a small group of electronic musicians tired of mangling the same processed beats for clients with more attitude than talent. We took some of our best material, much of it discarded from our client projects, melded it with the sounds we listened to growing up in the '70s and '80s, and came up with what you hear on this site.
Your influences?
Too many to mention over the years.
Favorite spot?
Wherever we are.
Equipment used:
Whatever we have lying around, though we have an affection (or affliction?) for Roland digitals. We record to ProTools.
