screams.go.silent is a metal/hardcore band from Madisonville, Kentucky.
The style of 2 vocalist is what makes the band so unique. The distant screams combined with the singing gives the band their own style.

If we told you, we would have to kill you. (Always wanted to say that)
Do you play live?
Yes we do. We have played from our home sh*** town of Madisonville to Evansville, IN. Yes, we love it. Special moments? Probably when we dropped our setlist and had to get Jamies mom to get us another one.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We found out about more bands on the Internet then out of all other resources. for unsigned, and even signed bands, the Internet is the key term to get your music out. F*** Metallica and their whiny rich asses.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hm...how big? Personally, I wouldn't want to sign with Dreamworks or something like that because I would rather play a show infront of 5 true fans, rather then play in front of 1000 teen bops.

We have been compared to metal acts such as Pantera, Lost Prophets, or Deftones, combined with hardcore like Bleeding Through, Atreyu, Unearth..etc.
