Whass up, Its ya boy Strife here with that real Hip-hop. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens, and now I'm chillin in the Bronx. Right now I'm working on my demo/underground album. I have two great producers and I'm always looking for more talented people to work with. Check out the tracks and let me know what you think.

Why this name?
The name means a lot to me for different reasons at times. When I hear someone describe struggle or pain Strife is a word that is definitely on their mind. Its the pinnacle of conflict and that's what my music depicts. The Adam part comes in when I look at myself. Its the part of me that is ever changing but always stays the same. (Its also my name) Both names also tie into the Bible with even deeper meaning but that's another conversation
Do you play live?
I Have done a lot of shows from The Catskills in upstate New York to Hunter College. I like doing my thing on stage no matter where it is. Nothing beats doing a smaller venue thought. Its very intimate and personal. The vibe from the crowed is right there in your face. If I can get them into it my energy goes through the roof.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It Does wonders for underground / struggling artist. There's no doubt about it. It lets your music go around the world while your in your living room. I have fan in Germany and Australia. For an artist signed to a label it effects record sales in a negative or positive way depending on how good the artist is. No one downloads an album that is sick. If its really that hot you actually want the CD and booklet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, Its not who you sign with. Its what you sign. I am willing to go to a major label if they "A" let me retain control over what gets put out. and "B" The money and promotion is correct. You can be one of the hottest new rappers out but if your not promoted correctly you might as well still be on your front steps spitting with your boys.

Your influences?
I draw from old school Hip-hop. The lyrically strong like Rakim. The politicly powerful like Nas, 2Pac, and Public Enemy. Don't forget I'm from Queens so everything comes out either very smooth or completely Raw and hardcore.
Watching the new always sparks a new song for me. Anything in my life be it pain, pleasure, or uncertainty is a potential song. Emotion is my fuel you could say.

My mic is all I need to be real with you. The beats are for when I get in to the business aspect of it.
