What it do to all my nigga's Up in the Island where the Gangsta's be ridin at home boi. Much love for all the nigga's that gave us the inspiration for this first of many albums. And we gone continue to bring that pift straight to the moterf***in booth my nigga. G.I. in the mothaf***in buildin bro.
Why this name?
We came up with the group name by picking something that our whole life was based on in the streets which is our nation.
Do you play live?
Oh yea we play liv everywhere we go. We play in the streets, at school, really anywhere there are people there for us to perform.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it gives people more of a chance for somebody to recognize you and the sh*** you bring to the table.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
hell yea in a second as long as they are talking square business.
Band History:
Two gutter nigga's that was raised in the streets of the Gangsta's Island(Gary Indiana) with nothing going they're way, so they decided to put all their life challenges and tribulations on to a peice of paper back in 2002, when somebody heard it and said that we should try and pursue this dream of ours until we make something out of it. So we took that advice and now here we are tring to make it in the world all on a blank disc wit us talking.
Your influences?
Lil Wayne is somebody i can look up to lyrically, Eminem also for what he has brought to the game. 50 cent because i feel that he is motivated in all the right ways and he's doing his motherf***in thing right now. My undergroung cousin in Gary Indiana Gunz because as soon as he drops he is going to f*** the industry up. The list goes on but im going to cut it off short.
