I play bass and I'm just a solo musician right now. I've only been playing for 7 months, so I still have much to learn.
I've recently started writing a bit of my own music and once I have something I deem worthy, I would like it to be heard by others.

No, since I don't have a band to play with.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'm sure it has caused some decrease of album sales,.. but I think it can be a good way of finding new bands you normally wouldn't hear about, or giving an album a couple of good listens to hear if it's worth buying.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I have one song wich is starting to take shape, basically the first one I'm trying to arrange as a full song. It's still far from finished, but it's the most pleasing and complete thing I've done so far. It's going to be all bass, with both clean and distorted/wah parts. I've just put up a short demo in wich you can hear a few parts of the song.
