Why this name?
We met at an engineering math class, "The Laplace transforms" while we were students in college, we liked how the name sounded and his work was related to a lot of things that relate to electronic music technology
Do you play live?
We do play live a few times a year, but not very often, we like to do special multimedia shows when we play live, using some theatrical stuff.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Internet was a revolution for humankind, but it is a dream come true for the independent musician
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends.
Band History:
Laplace is active since 1987, 4 productions and a new project called TIJUANA 2030 keep them very busy, from techno pop to electronica, now, making science fiction music and tales, creativity is the name of the project, having fun with art and technology, that is the main objetive.

Kraftwerk, front 242, Soda stereo, ELP, Tangerine Dream, skyland, etc.
Favorite spot?
if the sun shines and the kids play, we like it.
