Chuck Fletcher is a prolific singer/songwriter/musician effectively creating an eclectic mix of rock, blues, pop and jazz.
Why this name?
My parents chose it in 1965:)
Do you play live?
Occasionally play live in clubs throughout the Chicago area.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The music industry has been dying for years and MP3/WMA and sites such as this, itunes and rhapsody are putting the final nails in it's coffin. IMHO.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only with certain guarantees that I'm sure most labels would turn up their noses
Band History:
I've been in and out of many bands through the years(Flite, The Unknowns, No Limit, Prisoner, Prisoner II & @Last to name a few) and am currently trying my luck as a solo artist.
Your influences?
My first two rock albums were The Beatles' Sgt Peppers' and Foreigner's Double Vision. My most major influences are 70s rock bands(Styx, Survivor, Foreigner, Boston, Journey), although my musical tastes range from Mozart to Metalica.
Favorite spot?
Las Vegas
Equipment used:
All live guitars/basses. BFD drumkits and for synths Yamaha S80, Yamaha Motif Rack, Roland XV and an Emulator/X.
Anything else...?
Very open to all criticism both good and bad but hopefully all constructive as opposed to the typical 'you suck!'.
