Why this name?
It's a good analogy for constant improvement.
Do you play live?
I've just joined a band that may play out eventually but right now I'm more of a bedroom musician.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a great alternative to the rotting carcass that is radio.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only after reading the fine print.

I'm a self taught multi-instrumentalist. I've been playing seriously since 1980 and started writing soon after.

Favorite spot?
Tie: London & San Francisco for best city. Favorite spot is Crater Lake in Oregon.
Equipment used:
Acoustic/electric 6 & 12 string guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, Chapman Stick, mandolin, electric violin, charango. Anything I can find, really.
