Why this name?
Originally I was given the name B-z was given to me by some friends when I was younger, because they said I resembled Bizzy Bone (and that was before I started rapping). And as time passed as a reminder to listeners of how I spelled it, I would mention B Dash Z. Eventually I dropped the Z but I still use both.
Do you play live?
Yeh, I love being in front of a crowd, da adrenaline is a rush.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well honestly it helps give an artist exposure, but it can also kill an artist's sales.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No doubt, but if they sign me they need to have that paper work in order. Also they better be prepared for my brother Lively aswell.
