Carpets and Dolphins consist of Joe and Hope - Hope mostly plays while Joe basically arranges. Most of the music on this page comes from the music we recorded for our wedding.

Why this name?
The name came from the misspronunciations of our last names that preschool children Hope teaches.
Do you play live?
We play for our Church and whereever the Church band goes. Joe plays Bass, and Hope sings, plays organ, guitar, and tamborine.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows us little people to share our talents.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
We were married Nov 20, 2004. We actually met around 6 years ago, but at that time, Hope could not stand Joe... so Joe had to move away for a long time. When we met again 5 years later, it was love at first site (hehehehehe)...
Your influences?
Musically, Hope likes jazz and contemporary. Joe likes classical and industrial.
Favorite spot?
We had our honeymoon with the Amish in Landcaster... Great experience!
