Dont be mislead by the name. We are a group of 4 highly tallented guys who just want to do what we love. Each one of us has contrasting styles and they have all murged in a bluesy rock jam band. And what comes out is nothing less than outstanding.
Why this name?
We were driving down the street and there was a store sign with lights out and all it said was "Kilo"
Do you play live?
Yes, anywhere and everywhere we can.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think its a push and pull relationship. It allows people to hear music from artists whenever they choose. Basically its free advertisement. However, its a SUBSTANCIAL lost in profit for the bands. Touring pulls in enough money to pay the bills but nothing more. Record sales in theory should do the rest. It doesnt because most of it is tied up in recording expenses. So free music? For us its free press, but in our future it may be a nightmare.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe, hopefully. We can only hope that by the time we're ready the industry will have gotten its act together.
Band History:
Too long. Lets just say we jammed together and saw the chemistry and kept at it.
Your influences?
Dave Matthews Band, Sublime, Bob Marley, The Killers
Equipment used:
Sean: takamine guitar, Yamaha PA
Ari: Fender Tele Highway series, Behringer amp
John: Spector Q5, Warwick Corvette Fretless, Qsc RMX 1450, Avatar 2x12
