Why this name?
GIG CB! stands for the George Inn Giant Ceilidh Band - George Inn, because that's where we meet with all our friends, 1st Monday of the month, near London Bridge station, London for a monster music session. Giant because there's lots of us! Ceilidh Band because we play for ceilidh's, french bals, breton fest-noz, and the like.
Do you play live?
Anywhere and everywhere. We're UK based, but are playing at festivals in France and Germany this summer.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Make us an offer!
Your influences?
Well, it's very hard to categorise! There's so much going on, it's like a party on 24 legs. La Bottine Souriante would be the closest I can think of, but there are hints of Blowzabella, and many of the great French bands like La Chavannee
Favorite spot?
Centre france
