Dec. 27, 2002 Recording Our New CD!!!
If anyone is looking for us, we're not gonna be here for the next couple of days. We are leaving town tonite in order to go record our new CD! This time we promise it won't suck.
We're going to a good recording studio this time, so the quality will be much better than our EP was. The studio is located somewhere in Riverside, and we're getting there using Sean's van. ROADTRIP!!! Damn, roadtrips are so fun. Aight anyways, look for the CD in about a week. Until then, have urselves a Happy New Year!

Why this name?
We got the name for Negative 47 by the 47 being all our ages added up when we started the band (16, 16, and 15). The Negative part stands for something which only band members know.
Do you play live?
We've played live at different places. We played at school, the Whiskey and at Pug'z Music in Westwood. All very fun shows and the crowd loved us.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3's change the music industry by giving average no name bands like us a chance to increase our fan base.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes of course. I mean who wouldn't?
Band History:
Newly formed May 2002 after our old bassist quit. All best friends and decided to start a band called Negative 47 (special meaning).
