Edible Beauty
First things first, we're an indie rock band from Hamilton Ontario, Canada. We just recorded our first demo track for the cd, and are going to hopefully get it done soon, whithin the next couple of months.
Why this name?
Amnion was chosen out of the back of a Science textbook by a friend of the band's.
Do you play live?
We have been playing live in and around Hamilton for about 2 years now. We've played charity shows, to local clubs that have been played in by many popular artists. Our live set contains lots of energy, and we try to keep the fans involved by doing what we like to see happen at concerts.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The net is a great promotional tool for indie bands, and it is generally free to the public.
Your influences?
Tool, System of a Down, and A Perfect Circle are big influences in our music. We try to incorporate a little bit of everything into our music to keep it fresh and original.
