If Radiohead opened up a bar, hired Beck as the senior bartender and had a two-for-one Hip-Hop Night where Portishead hooked up with Incubus, their lovechild would be named Host Echo.
Do you play live?
Mostly playing in the Western NY area. Now moving into the Nost-East, Mid-West and Canada.
Every performance has its special moments.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
There is a greater artist to audience relationship. Communication is more direct.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
maybe.
Band History:
With the high quality ingredients of a classically trained guitarist, a jazz vocalist, a hip hop DJ, a versatile bass player and a smoked-out percussion section, Host Echo is truly a musical evolution. Starting with solid guitar compositions, the band focuses heavily on melody and powerful lyrics. With the inclusion of a chill beat and a layering of percussion trinkets the groove is definitely set. Putting their minds, hearts and souls together, Host Echo tastefully blends rock, soul and jazz. .

Their involvement in the music community is also very admirable. Most notably is the Woodbox Theater Events, where the band organized and helped to raised hundreds of dollars for the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center, a non-profit community coalition.

Playing at venues throughout Western NY, Host Echo has enjoyed an excellent response from venue owners and concert goers alike. With their new EP recorded and the recognition as the 2004 Niagara Area Molson Music Awards “Best Original Band”, Host Echo is now ready for their public.
