Do you play live?
Yes. All over the mid-west with my band. I remember the first time i was singing in a club after i finish singing almost everybody in the club treated me like i was a star and i was only sixteen. That was my first show and a very special moment because after that show i knew that i can reach people with my voice. That was the start of A'wun
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I feel that times has change in music, so i don't think nothing else could change the industry, but i do feel like it's very good singers out there that just can't find that right person to hear them. Almost everybody has a computer, so i like this program because it helps artist get their music out so the world can hear it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, that has always been my one of my goals.
Your influences?
Gladys Knight, Phillis Hyman, Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, Brandy, Beyonce, It's just so many. I can go on for hours. The people I love are not just stars to me but all do have unique sounds that makes them who they are. Much respect.
Favorite spot?
I love to eat so i would have to say Ron Of Japan
