My original name was JON-E and it was simply cause i couln't think of anything else. Then after flowin' over beats people used to always say i "killed" the beat and called me a "killa" when it came to flowin' so i just took that and made my name DAT KILLA J (DKJ for short). An alias i made for myself is J-DUB and that was originally a backup name in case someone made it into the game wit' the name DAT KILLA J and/or DKJ first.

I think it's bad for major artists because you have illegal downloads but it's good for underground artists who need to get exposure.

The major influence in my rap career is Tupac. The albums that have influenced me the most are albums that came out betwen 93 and 97 such as THE 7 DAY THEORY, ALL EYEZ ON ME, DOGGYSTYLE, DOGG FOOD, REASONABLE DOUBT, LIFE AFTER DEATH, HARD CORE and so on.
