Xion's Trance
I am just a simple guy expressing myself as a DJ to the world.
Why this name?
my niakname Xion, refers to an old greek mythlogical story of a half-man half-horse who had great wisdom, that pretty much explains it.
Do you play live?
No, I just simply want to show everyone my work.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yes, every band should go to this site, it will being more popularity towards them.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No thank you, I am a very busy guy.
Band History:
I have been composing music for 7 years now, basicaly im at an intermediate. I strongly suggest that for those who are getting started with trance, take piano lessons or get a basic piano book so you can come up with some pretty cool beats or rythems.
Your influences?
I play allot of Bemani games and games that are also by Konami. I have also listened to a few Dj's such as Paul Oakenfold, DJ Plural or Naoki.
Favorite spot?
Metrotown, Burnaby, Richmond, BC and most of Vancover.
Equipment used:
I use an unregistered version of FL Studio 4.5 (I should be getting it registered in 2 months, bare with me here), Reason 2.5 and I also have a Casio CTK-533 (eletric piano).
Anything else...?
In the words of my piano teacher Steve Mate "Practice, practice and practice". Never give up and keep going at it, divide your studying in "small steps", eventually you will complete it.
