Why this name?
These songs start life as .wav files, and most of them have been divided and rebuilt quite a few times.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Reminds me of a quote by Michelle Shocked, who appeared on Austin City Limits. She said something like "Everyone can, and should make their own music, and I know what I'm talking about!" Now there's an endless opportunity to make and hear new music, compared to twenty years ago.
Your influences?
Grew up with classical music, and like Chopin and Schumann a lot. But also enjoy sounds that drone. Airplane engines, pumps, air conditioners, construction machinery... music to my ears.
