Why this name?
1991, Apollo's, Columbus, Ohio. Off night, no audience. It was a different band but I introduced us as Dick Darnit and the Damnits. It was later shortend in 1995 to The Damnits.
Do you play live?
In the past we've only played Ohio and New York we are looking forward to visiting a town near you soon.We are at our best live,we love playing live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives midwesterners the opportunity to be heard from the midwest.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
The Damnits became a band in 1995 playin gigs around Ohio for fun and good times. Just recently (2000) we have become serious with the addition of J.C.
Your influences?
Everything that is personally inspirational to us, drives us.....there are too many individual influences to mention.
Favorite spot?
Home, wherever that might be.
Equipment used:
Gibson & Fender guitars. Yamaha drums. Ampeg amps.
