Mostly over the years, I've written music for other up and coming artists, but I've moved from the lyrical content to the concept of a new music, hiphop is in an intensive care situation, mu'af-ckas dont wanna hear about diamonds, cars and women anymore, Im not saying that they wanna hear gospel or some politically correct stuff...but the music we live, and the lives we live are soo much more than 3 things...ya know

I think Mp3 allows alot of opportunity to get exposure on the world front. I also think that having 'net access inspires many more who do music as a hobby to gravitate towards it as a career.

I most definitely would because even though the majors are pretty tough I believe having the knowledge of the industry is the difference between success and failure go experience and bad experience...so with that said, it's safe to assume that I really invest my time is reading books about 'music-must-knows'.

My true influences are old school motown, I love hiphop and all but I go deeper to understand the evolution of urban music and how it's become so successful as a genre....I listen to Isleys, Jacksons(Triumph, Off the Wall) Lionel Ritchie, R.Kelly,..mayfield...I can go on and on..even some TV sitcom theme songs...
