never really settled on a positive name, but side swipe was used for a time mostly for lack of anything better. there is probably some subliminal connection to my all time favorite underground-as-heck band called Alcohol Funnycar, which has been disbanded for quite a number of years.

i have played live before- but right now i can't seem to find reliable musicians in the local area that want to learn\write original material. everyone wants to be a cover band.

it's easier to get stuff out, but harder to make money, especially for those of us who cant play live. money isn't everything, but it would be really nice to quit my job!!!

first and foremost, alice in chains and alcohol funny car. primus as a bass player, and also on the list would be bands like linkin park, nudeswirl(they rock, much respect), breaking benjamin, tool, puddle of mud, stone temple pilots, velvet revolver.... and that's just the rock portion. i would also have to include prodigy, kmfdm, sister machine gun, machines of loving grace. i like industrial too.

fruity loops, digitech synth wah (the crazy stuff), parker, gretch, gibson, and (esp)ltd guitars. boss processors... turbo rat distortion... lots of stuff. anything for a sound i havent heard before.
