Judge Not
NEWS   Judge Not is still on vacation at the moment. However, some big changes have already occured. Two of our members have moved on in other directions besides Judge Not and we pray the best for them and in their ventures. So, for now Judge Not is left with Ron and Rob. We will announce a new guitarist and drummer very soon. We have the 2 brothers we want but we just need to dot the "i's" and cross the "t's" and then we will make the official announcement. Untill then continue to pray for us, and keep Mario and Stevie in your prayers as they persue their new endeavors and that God will be in the midst of them. God bless you all!!!

We are a group of four unique individuals all from different musical backgrounds. Each of us brought something different to the table and formed this musical entity called Judge Not. Our vision is to share with the world what has happened in our lives through our music. Our struggles, hardships, and how we got through them comes out in our music. We share what has worked for us in hopes that maybe someone will give it a try and change their lives for the better. We do this by bringing the message through our hard rock/metal sound with, at times, a sweet, soothing melodic flavor as well.
Why this name?
In the bible it says in Luke 6:37 "Judge not less you be judged...." Our music was being judged by people as not being of God. Our stand was basically, don't judge us until you have really heard us. That is what we were trying to say by calling ourselves Judge Not.
Do you play live?
We play live whenever we get the open door to do so. We have played all over Texas and we love it. I think one of the most special moments for us was at a concert we did in San Marcos, Texas. This was at a juvenile prison and out of 112 kids about 90 of them accepted Christ as their savior. The most special moments for us is when young kids come up to us and tell us how our music has influenced their lives or how one of us has inspired them to "serve God" like we do.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet makes it more accessible in a timely manner for people to listen to bands and find out about them. I think it is a good thing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, because we feel that signing with a major label would open the door to get our message out to more people.
Your influences?
Like I stated before, we each come from different musical backgrounds, so we were each influenced by different musical groups. To list a few in general there is: Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera, P.O.D., Joe Satriani, Public Enemy, T-Bone, Disciple, Steven Curtis Chapman, Stryper, etc. As you can see by our influences, we are very diverse.
Favorite spot?
One of our most favorite spots to play is the Catacombs in San Antonio, TX. They always treat us like family and it is a great place to play and see other bands play that have the same vision as we do.
